1955 Mercedes-Benz Type 180 Ponton

Dear Sir,

I'm writing from Colombia, and have a 1955 Mercedes-Benz Type W120 180 Ponton sedan. I received the car as a present from my friend Raul Moreno. The restoration process took more than a year to complete. Here are some photos of the process – from the first day untill the last. The final photos are of my daughter with the car. I enjoy reading the articles on the website.

The paint was purchased directly from Glasurit, and the original color (shown here) is DB 519 "Red."
We tried to remain faithful to the original color, although it may appear different under certain lighting conditions.
